LAUNDRY LOVE
Washing clothes can present both a logistical problem and financial hardship for many in our community. Harbor Church has teamed up with Get It Clean Laundromat (3985 30th St.) to help! If you would like to help organize these events, please contact Melanie Gray.
San Diego Food Bank - On the first Thursday of each month, we hand out food to approximately 150 working-poor families. Join us at the North Park Recreation Center (4044 Idaho St., 92104) any time between 7:00-9:30 AM. Contact Chad Gray at or the church office at 619.699.5950.
Needs!
• Volunteers to help with assembly, distribution and clean-up at Food Bank.
• Plastic grocery bags! Please bring to Food Bank, or drop-off at the Uptown Sunday service.
• Produce & Bread helper (first Wednesday of the month) - Help pick up extra food for our recipients! Contact Erika Kirkland,
Uptown Care Packs
From time to time a Sunday night visitor will ask for help with needs such as bus fare, extra clothing, or money for food or housing. To help meet these needs, we have Care Packs—backpacks containing toiletries, food vouchers, a blanket, etc. Some are stored at church to give out as needed on Sunday nights. Others are made to be distributed to those in need in the community. Contact Melanie at if you'd like to help with donations or distribution.
