Children
“From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise.” ~ Psalm 8:2
Infants to Age 2
We believe that babies are gifts from God and that we must treasure and care for the babies entrusted to us. We seek to nurture and love them as Christ would through our words, actions, and attitudes. Our prayer is that your child will rest in God’s presence as we create a peaceful atmosphere filled with smiling faces, loving hearts, and soothing praise music.
Please bring…
- Diaper bag, diapers, wipes
- Bottle/Juice
- Change of clothes (if prone to accidents)
- Pacifier, blankets…
Ages 3 and up
We believe that it is the responsibility of the church to assist parents in teaching and loving children according to God’s Word. We use Bible study, crafts, music, games, and memory work to teach our children. We aim to teach with enthusiasm and passion for the Gospel so that your child will find joy and excitement in the Christian life, and will yearn to serve Jesus with all his gifts and talents.
Our Vision
• To welcome and love all children that come through our doors.
• To teach children that:
- The Bible is God’s Word & is the story of redemption through Christ.
- God made them and cares for them.
- We all stray from following God and need a Savior.
- Jesus is God’s Son who came to earth to live a perfect life for us and
to die for our sins, making a way for us to heaven.
- We are part of God’s family forever if we trust and believe in what Jesus
did and is doing for us.
• To have this time be a very enjoyable, growing part of your child’s week.
Our Goals
• To provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can experience Jesus’ presence and enjoy learning who Jesus is and why He matters in his or her life.
• To help your child learn to:
- Pray
- Love God’s Word and to memorize Scripture
- Praise God joyfully through music and art
- Grow in grace and faith in Christ
- Live life abundantly with Jesus in the center
- Love others and offer forgiveness
- Serve our neighbors
Child Protection Policy
We place a high priority on maintaining a safe, secure environment for our children and our children’s ministry staff. Our full policy is available upon request. It prohibits sexual, physical, mental, or emotional misconduct by the staff. We carefully screen all potential teachers and assistants to avoid placement of a known offender or at risk individual.
All children must be signed in and out of the classrooms.
