SUNDAY OPERATIONS
We set up tables and signs, unlock doors and turn on lights. We create an environment that makes people feel welcome and at ease, providing the space where Uptown can connect deeply with Christ and with each other. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
We provide a community for children, giving kids a fun and safe place to grow in their understanding of the Gospel, and giving their parents un-distracted time to connect with Christ and the Uptown family during the worship service. Contact Amy: , (917) 446-6143.
CARE
We organize ways for Uptown to care for each other through words and deeds of love. We provide meals, visit the sick, move furniture, pray, lend a hand and connect needs with resources. Contact Morton Park at or (760) 743-1226 x135.
PRAYER
The Prayer Team facilitates a weekly prayer meeting before church at 4:45pm and provides prayer support after the service. We also provide resources and training on how to grow in prayer. Contact Kacie at or (619) 201-5374
HOSPITALITY
We create a joyful and welcoming space where people can enjoy refreshments and connect with one another after the worship service. We're helping build community. Contact Barbara: , (619) 640-7314.
GREETING
Greeting is a picture of the Father welcoming His children home (Luke 15:11-31). We seek to express the love of Jesus in word and deed by making all people feel welcome at Uptown. Contact Andrea: , (469) 288-1253.
CHURCH LIFE

MERCY

WORSHIP
The Worship Team uses music to facilitate worship at our Sunday services. Possibilities for involvement include playing an instrument, singing, helping with the overhead or sound and helping set-up and clean-up equipment. Contact Chad: , (619) 829-4844
FAITH & WORK

EQUIPPING
We develop and facilitate events, short-term studies, long-term groups and one-to-one relationships that 1) clearly proclaim the gospel, 2) communicate the basics of faith in the gospel to new believers and 3) live out the gospel by telling others about it and helping them grow in the faith.
