Seder Passover Meal
Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Passover is the oldest Jewish religious festival, commemorating the Exodus—God's deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt. The Passover meal is know as the Seder. It is a ceremonial meal, guiding us through a meditation on God's work of redemption for His people. The Last Supper shared by Jesus and His disciples was a Passover Seder, and it is the meal Jesus chose for inaugurating the New Covenant. For us, sharing this meal is an opportunity to experience with all five senses how the Exodus story points us to Jesus and to the astonishing hope of Easter.
Each of our 3 Community Groups will host a Seder on 3 different nights during the week before Easter.
